There are three levels of classified ads, Basic, Extended, and Deluxe. The Basic ads are
free with up to a 300 character description (this includes spaces).Extended ads cost $1.00 (US) and allow ad
descriptions as long as you need (within reason). Deluxe ads are $5.00 and have the same extended
ad privileges in addition to being able to include a photo in your ad.
All classified ads must fit within the available categories and sub categories. Any offensive ads will be removed
at the discretion of PopUp Explorer. If you are selling something that does not fit within an available category,
contact [email protected] with your request
for a new category and a description of the item you wish to submit. You will be notified if we feel your request is
appropriate for PopUp Explorer
A basic ad will be substituted until payment has been received and which time the ad will be approved for posting. Payment
is made through PUX Trading Post. At the end of the posting process you will be directed to the correct page on PUX Trading Post
to make pament. When checking out you can choose either Credit Card or Paypal.
Only one item is allowed to be advertised per ad. Ads found to be violating this policy will be subject to editing or deletion
at the sole discretion of PopUp Explorer.
Any ad that is placed will only run for 30 days and must be manually renewed. This is to help prevent dead ads and insure that
the majority of ads will be current.

I want to make everyone aware of a scam usually originating out of Nigeria.
In this scam the buyer usually from overseas sends a cashiers check in an amount over the asking price. The buyer in this case will
seem to have a good reason for doing this and will ask the victim to just send them the balance. Many of the victims of this scam have
cashed the cashiers check with the belief that it is guaranteed money only to find out the check was counterfeit. The victim will usually
usually find out after sending the extra money either directly to the buyer or a supposed agent of the buyer.
One of the key warning signs of a scam is getting a check for an amount over the purchase price or an offer higher
then you are asking for. While not all overseas inquiry are automatically scams one should take extra precautions to ensure that you are
protected, which is a good idea anyway. The Nigerian scam has been around for many years and classified advertising on web sites has
provided rich hunting ground for the scammers. Remember there are no laws protecting you from overseas buyers. As the scam becomes more wide-spread
and more people are aware of it, you can bet the scammers will change tactics to make the offer seem more valid.
