Anyone in the Toronto area know of someone who can do maintenance on a travel trailer ( winterize ) ? Looking for someone who makes house calls. Thanks

Any reason why you can't do it yourself? It's not expensive, difficult or time consuming. I can do mine in an afternoon, and that includes removing everything I don't want to overwinter in the trailer, and giving everything a good cleaning.

Start checking the web sites of the RV Dealer in and around your area. Many (at least here in the Ottawa area) offer free seminars on how to winterize.
Do a search on this, or other forums, for 'winterizing'. there are tons of postings.
If you can set up and pack up your trailer at a campground, you can certainly winterize it. Easy peasy.

It's really quite easy...we even did it ourselves :) There are tons of simple instructions online if you google it -- otherwise any local trailer place should do it..there are tons in TO surely...

It is not hard to winterize your camper yourself. I did it myself with no issues.
All I did was watch some YouTube videos about winterizing and read the directions in my HTT manuals. As matter of fact the most frustrating thing was learning how easy this was and knowing that I had paid someone $100 a year for the last 4 years to do this for me. Heck I even bought the anit-freeze and spent $100.
As a matter of fact I winterized my HTT at the storage lot using the power supplied from my HTT being attached to may TV. I had already removed the battery and was too lazy to put it back in (it needed to be replaced). I am a 41 single femaile with little or no mechanical knowledge. YOU CAN DO IT! If you want to...

If you subscribe to PopUp Times magazine there was a winterizing article a few editions ago, and Dean might be able to get you set up with a copy of that edition, if he has any left. You could always check www.PopUpTimes.com and ask Dean.

Simple, cheap, and easy to run RV antifreeze through the plumbing. And you'll have the satisfaction of knowing it gets done correctly. Plenty of info on the internet to help you.
