Welcome to PUX. Still active? Just check the threads and you'll see lots of activity every day.
We transitioned from tenting 3 yrs. ago and while there's a lot to learn, we didn't really have any problems other than learning a new style of enjoying the outdoors. It fact we love it. What seems to be the problem(s)?

I was actually talking about the Virginia Campers thread. My problem is I seem to take way more gear than needed.Sometimes it seems as if tent camping was a lot easier.

Really? you think tent camping is easier than PUP camping? We have a PUP and one time we decided not to take her on a trip, instead we stayed in a yurt. We had to take bedding, plates, cups, flatware, pots, pans, coffee pot and a ton of other stuff that is already in the PUP. Never again. Everything I need is already in my pup except for the fresh groceries that we buy on the way to the campsite.
After I get home from a camping trip, in less than an hour the PUP is usually all restocked and clean and ready to go again.
Happy camping!
