Here are some new photos from our camping trip last weekend at Cascade River State Park, MN and Gooseberry Falls State Park, MN on the North Shore of Lake Superior.

It rained a lot last weekend.   We were dry and warm in our popup camper.  Only the serious campers stayed.  During the day it was dry so we had an excellent flow of water in the rivers and over the waterfalls.

I also just purchased a new Nikon D5100 DSLR camera and got to try it out on this weekend.  Perfect weekend to try it out with a slow shutter speed to capture the motion of the water!

Enjoy the photos!

Notice the date of the photos.  There are also older photos in each album from prior years when the waterfalls were not flowing as well as this weekend.

The water is flowing beautifully now!

It also helps to have the Nikon D5100 DSLR camera.

Great pics.  We will be camping in NE WI the first week in Jul which is where many of the falls are located in WI.  I don't think any will be this impressive though.

After yesterday's huge rain I wish I was going to the North Shore this weekend!
