bfmoon...I'm confused by your description of how you guys used the BAL.  So just to clarify, it's as simple as:  slide the BAL under the low side wheel.  Spin the jack screw clockwise until the wheel has been raised enough to perfectly level the camper from side-to-side.

That's it.  There's no letting the camper down onto wood blocks or anything else.  The BAL remains under the wheel the entire time you're camping.

You then level the camper front to back using the adjustment of the tongue jack.

The roof is then fully raised.

The stabiliizers are put down against the ground firmly.

Finish the rest of the set up of the camper, including choking the other wheel if you wish.

Wintrmte: spin the jack screw counter-clockwise with your fingers until it is threaded "out" enough that it can be "stood up" like you see in the photo above, with it's tip in that little cup of the BAL frame.  Then screw the jack screw clockwise with your fingers until you can't spin it any more.  Finally, place the included wrench on the jack screw, and turn the jack screw clockwise until the wheel has been raised enough to level the camper perfectly from side-to-side.

Austinado16 it was already on blocks because our drive way is not level, so we were replacing the blocks with the BAL. So we had to lift with a bottle jack remove the blocks and lower back down with the bottle jack. Then put BAL under the tire and raise it back up.

I am confused about the price of the Bal. My local dealer has it for 118.00, camping world for 96.00 and Pux is charging 65.00. Are they the same or are there different kinds of Bal Leavelers?  I am going to get one because I hate the blocks.

That sounds like expected pricing going from a dealer$$$ to CW$$ to PUX$.  SHould be the same thing.

Hey, you're experiencing the 200% mark up that the dealership feeds on.  Nice, eh?  They probably get 'em for about $30-$40 at wholesale pricing.

Just get one from PUX.  At least you know the money is going to help keep this forum alive and well, and there may be a lot of value in that to you.  Especially if you have ever, or will ever, need help with a problem, and you come here for free answers that potentially save you a ton of time and money.

Exactly how high can you lift the tire using the BAL Leveler?
Never saw the spec posted on any sites that sell them.
Can it lift over 14"?  What do you do if you have a campsite
that is so unlevel that you cant lift your camper high enough?

Then you get to use boards plus BAL.

In my experience, in campgrounds at least, the front-to-back slope is usually more significant than the sideways. I've never exhausted my BAL's height (and with tiny tires, I don't get as much height as most users do) but I've definitely gone past my stabilizers and needed extra lift.

You still gotta pack boards. You just do.  Sleepy

The height varies with the tire size. The smaller the tire the less lift you get because you have to crank up the BAL to contact the tire before lift begins.
As for height average is 5-6 inches max lift. Over that and we've found we just carry a camping shovel and dig out the high side. Having that or more lift, especially on the door side, make for a less stable camper not to mention having the door step way to high.

Oooh.  I hate the thought of having to carry a shovel to dig out high side.
Using a shovel would severely cut into my beertime.

Unless you're boondocking or trying to park in my backyard, you probably won't have to dig. Park rangers frown on digging holes in the parking spot.

With a 5" rise for 13" tires I imagine a lot of people with popups have to use
wood slabs in order to get their camper high enough.

I don't know where you guys camp???  When we tent camped we went to alot of US forestry campgrounds and Never
had to worry about the level parking spots.  And so far we have not had to crank the BAL more than 3 inches.  I do carry a shovel, but I sure hope I never have to dig myself level... I would have to pack another 12 pack to get that
done!!! BEER! BEER! BEER!  I would hope that my future campgrounds do not need the shovel...
