My 1996 Fleetwood Destiny Cheyenne has a broken MAIN lift cable on the passenger side front.  I have found the old pdf file online, but for the life of me cannot find info that tells me the finished length.

Cany anyone help with the cable measurement length.

Thanks

Download the Fleetwood Lift System repair manual and see if it has the info you require.

Hmm, I see your problem. They don't actually give you the answer, and you have to guess at the length of the ferrule used in the pic at the bottom of pg 30 among other things. So for others, Look at pg. 36. It references a "cable cut chart" which can be found on pg. 30. Nothing tells you the actual *finished* length (that you asked for) that I can see, but he pic on the bottom of pg. 30 tells you how to turn the 161" length into the finished product that is shorter than that. Another source I have (no idea where I got the copy from) calls out 161.25" as the cut length, so hopefully that is the right answer. (but please don't trust me - come to your own conclusions before you cut!)

Your Cheyenne is Model 3076 in the 1996 Fleetwood Destiny Series lineup ... here is the Fleetwood Dealer's Parts Book, Page 3, for your particular trailer ... perhaps it will help.
