No, we haven't...but we're about to in a couple of weeks.  My parents are coming for a visit and we'll let 'em sleep in the PUP with DS and DDog and DH and I will sleep in our tent.  They offered to sleep in the tent but my dad uses a CPAP, so it will be easier to set up his thing on the counter in the PUP, we sold our "circus tent" but kept our backpacking tent, so there's not room to set up a makeshift table or anything.

I must love them, huh???  I sure do love my camper bed!

For backcountry camping, accessed either on foot or by canoe, yes, I still tent.  I've also tented it a few times in places that I wouldn't care to drag the TT into because of ruts/washed-out roads.

What has changed is the length of time I tent and the amount of junk that I bring along.  Before, it'd be 1-2 weeks.  Now, its 1-2 nights.  Before, the kitchen would be fairly involved.  Now, its boil-in-the-bag MREs.

But, mostly, I find a comfortable spot to park the TT just outside where I'd like to explore.  I then make daytrips into the backcountry, or maybe a single overnight trip if the urge really hits me.

I do tent camping twice yearly.  One is a primitive camp canoe trip. There's no other way to get to the camp site.  The other time is at a race track, but the next time might be the PUP in place of the traditional tent camp...

I love my tent, but hate the packing/unpacking.  No AC here here is a bad thing, too.  My college-age kids now use it.
And when they're with us in the T@B, they're in the add-a-room.

I use a one-person tent occasionally bicycle camping, when taking the boat by myself or to combine camping with a business trip.

My family sized tent was gifted to my adult son when we bought the popup.
