    Just found this site and thought I'd join in. Just bought a very lightly used 2008 Fleetwood Avalon at a steal of a price (less than $10,000). A world of a difference from the 1993 Jayco 1206 I had - I'm giving that one away, but keeping the great memories... This looks like a great place for information and to meet some new friends.  ~ Andie B

As someone told me, when I posted about my very lightly used 2007 Avalon............ we need pics !!!! (I have not gotten mine yet, as have been sick for almost a week)

So, welcome to the Avalon family. We are tentatively planning a Thanksgiving initiation camping trip. Fried turkey and all. :o) Have tons of new stuff coming in (can't have a new camper without new sleeping bags, and all kinds of neat stuff for the new camper !!!!)

What part of the country are you in???

Congrats on the new Avalon.  Like you I bought a used 2008 (used once) and am looking forward to camping this summer.  I am from Massachusetts and we camp in Maine.  The Avalon is replacing my 1977 Starcraft Galaxy Swinger which I bought new.  I tend to keep my toys a long time. Good luck with it.
