Favorite type of firewood? Being a city dweller, I find that to be a very odd question.
My absolute favorite is whatever is lying on the ground nearby and burns well!
Living in a big city all of my life I don't really have a choice to make. I would never cut the trees down on my property, they are part of the landscape, took decades to grow, and they add tens of thousands of dollars in "curbside appeal" value to the property!
When considering firewood, I burn whatever crosses my path as long as it's dry and affordable!
