I've spent lots of free time in the past 2 weeks cleaning and scrubbing my camper.  It was closed up all summer and water got in so it was really gross.  Well, after hours of work, it's now cleaner than it has been since it was new!  I've scrubbed the inside top to bottom, inside all the drawers and cabinets, the canvas inside and out, and just have a bit left on the exterior to scrub.  We're pretty sure we've found the leak, so after it's closed and caulked, it should be as good as new.  We're thinking of selling it, as we seldom use it. In the 6 years we've had it, 3 summers it's sat unused.  Anyone interested in buying a spotless 1986 Palomino TXL?  Smile

Hi!

Just picked up our first Pop-up last weekend and today (Friday) is the first day we've had to open it up and really get a good look at everything. It's a 1999 Starcraft Spacestar, in fairly great condition. However, I noticed the outside canvas of the windows has some mildewy spots and I thought that cleaning the canvas would be a great idea.

What product did you clean your canvas with? I would like to do the entire inside and outside, but the window area is where I noticed most of the spottiness. I live in California so getting a stretch of sunny days (yes, even in November) is likely and I'd like to get that all done before the major rains come in December.

Thanks in advance.

usually a light, mild soap, or just water.  here is a link to Starcraft manuals.  None for a 1999, but you may want to check them out.

How could you do that?  Having something so inviting just sitting there.  To ensure that we do use the PUP.  Every January in the doldrums of the winter, we start looking for where next years trips will be.  By the end of January or the middle of February we have at least 6 trips planned, reserved and sites paid for.  Once the money is down there is no stopping us.

I have found that we are always busy so if we do not do this we will not go camping.  Camping is my forced relaxation.  No computers, TV, mail, etc.
