We just ordered our Roo 19 and we have named her Bentley.  Now when people ask us what we are going to be doing... "we can say, we are taking the Bentley out for the weekend!!! "   My buddy has a PU and named it Woody. I am sure you can figure that one out!  Crazy friends!!!    It will be interesting to hear all the different names and reasons for them.

Ours is called 'Bullseye III.'  Our previous 2 popups were 'Bullseye' and 'Bullseye Jr.' and we liked the name still, we kept it going.  TravTrl Blue SUV Green

We have a 23 Roo. My 3 year old's name is Emma and when she was a baby I called her Emma Roo so that's what we call the camper now.  Wink

The hat says "ANT" but we tend to call ours "the treller".  That's how they pronounce "trailer" up the line in the Ottawa Valley where I grew up.  It always struck me as funny, and still does even as I go through adultescence.  Big Smile

What I used to call my old pop-up isn't fit to print in a family-friendly forum such as this.   Wink  But we just call our TravelStar "the trailer". Don't laugh; it's paid for.   Tongue

Marin Redwoods "Redwoods Roo"

we call it "CamperRoo". the DW and her brothers have nicknamed each other, using the term "roo", for years.
one brother, named Chip, has been called "Chiparoo" for years. so the DW loved the fact that our trailer had the same name they've been using for years.

Great topic  Grin

So far we have had a name for our truck and our GPS for some time now. Both in the James Bond theme. My son is a big fan of Mythbusters and really likes the Bond episodes, so that influenced the naming.

The truck is known as James Chevy
The GPS is called "M"  It's a Magellan. Not my first choice, but it was a freebie I won at a drawing at work a few years ago.

So, we've started the discussion on the name for the trailer. But no break thru yet, particularly in the James Bond theme.

Dad's truck is called "The BAT" because when we picked it up, my girls asked Daddy what he wanted to name his new truck.

He said, "Big A$$ Truck"

Therefore the camper is "The Cave"

When we had the pop-up, it had no name. After we upgraded to the Kodiak, a camping pal threatened to name it for us so we came up with "Bear Necessities". When we got the van, we stuck with the bear theme and went with "Ursa Major" (Big Bear).

Nothing too creative here, most of the time we refer to it as "Kodi" but we also refer to it as the big white box, because when the dog is looking out the rear truck window we figure she sees a big white box following us down the road, but since she isn't talking, who knows.

We started out with a 13ft 1972 Midas Frolic TT we found sitting in a field. We named it "Tiny House". There was a commercial a few years ago. I think it was one of the Geico fake commercials. It was a fake reality show called Tiny House. My wife came up with the idea and we all loved it so we have stuck with it. Our '06 Cub 160 is now called Tiny House. We now call all RVs "Tiny Houses". You get some strange looks when someone hears you say "that is one big Tiny House".
