My motor was going bad and it was still under warranty.  I replaced the motor with a new one.  Now it doesn't do anything.  anyone have any ideas?   I am trying to call the company for some trouble shooting.

Not sure what you have tried, but I would double check the wire connections. And also see about adjusting the upper and lower limit switches. Maybe one is way off.

There's a largish fuse in the wiring that doesn't look like a fuse. Did you accidentally not disconnect the battery before swapping out motors and cause a short and loose that fuse?

I assume you have the manual, but just in case, here it is,

First of all did you replace the motor or the whole winch?

I had a similar problem except that i went ahead and just got a rebuilt winch from powerwinch and also went ahead and replaced the cable It works awesome now.

I changed the whole winch cause i could not find just the motor. glad i did change the whole thing though it came with everything.

follow there wiring diagram and you should not have a problem.

I know this post is old, but I need a new motor for the same set up.  Local dealers dont seem to have the ability to get one and colorado carefree just tells me to find a local dealer.

Having zero luck with palamino or any atlanta rv dealers, nobody wants to help, or has ability to.   Think twice before you buy palamino, although most all rv's are made by one or two manufacturers anyway.   I guess i will buy a drill to power it up.
