Yikes! Why is this forum here? Cunningham never visits, and nobody posts. Hey mods, its time to press that delete key, although I hope that the business itself is doing well.

Actually, I just went to the website and it had a ton of Jayco info. Manuals, lift system stuff, parts, etc. I have no idea why this guy didn't come back...

I've been to that website as well, and it is a great resource. I hope the company is doing well despite their absence from here. Time are tough in the RV business.

Hello all,
We have placed an order for a new 2011 Jayco 1208. It is due "Off Line" on February 28th. We will probably not see it until a few weeks later. It has to ship to Orlando, get AC installed, prepped, and delivered.
Can hardly wait.
Happy Camping

Congrats on the new Jayco. The 1208 is a really nice floor plan. We liked it but couldn't pull it. It's horrible waiting through winter, isn't it? We have to walk by our Jayco 1006 everytime we go through the garage, just beckoning us to get out and go....

I thought that I would let everybody know that we are loving this camper. Its been from Florida to NC., then to VA, DC, Western NC, Carolina Beech, Myrtle Beech, and a few times to Wade KOA, just to get away for the weekend.
I put the Reese SC WDH on it for safer travel, and find that it works perfectly. No sway or wiggle and a nice level setup.

Awesome! I hope you enjoy your camper. Wear that sucker out ... it's doing you no good sitting in the driveway, so use it every chance you can. Chores, the yard, and house cleaning can wait. Get out. During our camping heyday, we used our camper every other week during the summer. We can not go as often as we do, but the kids still talk about our old trips and they won't let me sell the camper because they are holding out for the two or three times a year that we get to use it. Even those trips are worth it.
Life is good, make the most of it and your camper. The memories will last forever.

In my opinion, Jayco makes the best pop up. Others have been trying to catch up..we just sold our 1007, we loved it..we moved up to a 141J HW. Been out in it once heading out in a couple weeks for our next trip. Can't wait

We're still loving the 1208 we bought. It's been just over two years now.
The only real mod I've done is the nose jack.... It's now electric. I had to put a better latch on the converter cover. It liked to open up on it's own. I have zero complaints with this camper. It is a joy to own.
I made a nice drain system from pvc parts to handle connecting the shower and sink drains to the full hookup sewer drains at the RV parks. Also have a large gray water tank on wheels for when we go to a place without full hookups.
This trailer is heavy, but worth every pound.
