Ive got 5.30x12's and theyre starting to dry rot around the sides. I went to Sprawl-Mart and Tractor Supply who both had them, but you had to buy them on the rims. Is this normal or did I just not go to the right place? I dont need rims, just the tires.

Thanks!

When I had to purchase new tires I had to call around quite a bit. The parts department at the dealer would sell me the tires and the service department wanted to charge me another $100 to mount them on the rims. I posted on here back then as I was fit to be tied. I finally found a company that sold wholesale and retail and mounted the tires for free.

Check with your local mechanics and find out who they get their tires from.

Hey thanks, that gives me an idea. Maybe Ill try Peco's since they're close by. They've got great deals on everything else so maybe Ill take a shot at it.

Hi,
I need new tires a few months ago and I went on ebay and if not there do a google search by the size your looking for, you should find something there. I forgot where I got mine but only payed around $40.00 or so a tire
