I'm planning a trip to Moab.  Been wanting to wheel/ride/camp down there for the last 10 years.

As far as quading events.  One of my favorite is "Tour De Forest".  It is held around the town of Marienville, Pa irn the Allegheny National Forest.  They open the trails up to quads for a whole weekend of riding.  There are hundreds of miles of trails to ride. You can even ride your quad into town on this weekend and fill up at the gas station.

There are many places in central Utah you can use ATV's and camp together.  The Paiute ATV trail in south central Utah has hundreds of miles of trails that can be accessed from several campgrounds or boondock camping.  We spent a few days last summer camping and riding ATV's in the mountains.

By chance has anyone been to Boca Reservoir near Lake Tahoe? I'd like to plan a trip this summer for dirt biking, looks like a good spot!

In East Tennessee.
These two I know have direct trail access.

This one I've never been to so I'm not sure, but I think so.

In middle Tennessee (Tennessee/Kentucky border).
Ive never been here but I think you have to trailer form the campground to the trails.

There are also a couple of places in Kentucky where you can ride from the campground and even thru town, but I've never been there.
