Thats going to be a heavier PUP than your TV (Caravan ) can handle.

The caravan probably has a limit of 3500 lbs (if set up) and the PUP because it has a slide when loaded will come in at around 3500 lbs

After using I drain the water out of the hose and attach both ends of the hose together.  I carry 2 25ft hoses because sometimes one isn't enough.  They are the last thing in the camper when packing up and the first out when I arrive at a campground.  I usually fill the water tank when I arrive a the campground.  They sit right inside the door when traveling along with any other tool I may need due to a flat or breakdown along the route.

Hi everyone, our young family has caught the camping bug! I always had a little Jayco growing up.  We are eyeing a 1998 Jayco 12 SO.  The seller took it in trade and seems to not know alot about it.  It is a bit of a drive away, so I have been trying to find specs and pics online, but am really struggling.  I usually have pretty good luck, but even the NADA website is not much help on this model.  We have an '06 Grand Caravan. Anyone have any input? It would be so appreciated!!!

Oh, and one more thing, make sure that the RV dealer that he takes it to is not owned by his brother-in-law!

The earlier (pre-'87 from what I've see) Starcrafts had an aluminum strip under the bunk that the support roller wheel ran against.  This was not done after that and the wheel just runs on the plywood bunk bottom.

Thanks - it really feels bigger inside as well.

We got fabric that we had a friend sew up to the old sizes for us and then went to a local store that sells foam and had pieces cut to match the old sizes. Much more comfortable on the beds and, after 28 years they were in need of replacement.

Funny how generations have different impressions.  My 2012 Cruze Eco is the first Chevy I've owned and it's a fantastic commuter car.  I, on the other hand, will NEVER forgive Hyundai for the 1988 (non)Exel.

Go figure.

So true. I'm old, And I have had so many different vehicles. What i have learned is. I want one that MOVES when I stick my foot in it. So the little hybrids are out for me. I had a 4 banger, actually 2.  Never again. The little V6 Escape wil jump out from under you, and get pretty much the same MPG as the 4 Cly model.
Something else I have finally been forced to realize. I CAN'T bend the right way to get in, and out of a car any more. I have to have a SUV, or truck, or I can't go.  Went with friend in their new Malibu the other night. I like to never got out of that thing. My son has a Thunderbird. Wanted me to drive it. Yeah right. Had to crawl in, and roll out.
Something else about SUVs, and trucks. DW gets car sick. She does a lot better in a truck.

And again. It's better on your TV to tow with OD off. For many reasons

...but using a drill to lift the back of your TV in order to mount WD spring bars is asking an awful lot of any drill. Shocked

Maybe so, but it does work and I don't think it hurt the drill.  it still works well, just the batteries don't hold a charge well.  As stated the torque to lift the BAL leveler is significantly more, even with it recently greased.  You want a good two hand grip on either of these jobs or it's a potential wrist breaker.
Thanks for the link on the Dewalt.

Use a few drops of Dawn liquid soap in a spray bottle with clean water. Just make sure your surface is clean. Keep decal wet while placing and then squeegee it to remove air bubbles and get a smooth adhesion. Let dry thoroughly before touching etc.
I put new graphics on my pup after I painted it.
Just take your time and you'll see it's not that difficult.
